False Teachings: Let’s Talk About Heresy

요즘 세상에 이단이 참 많으니 “이단 조심해라! 이단에 빠지면 안된다!” 라는 말은 듣습니다. 우리는 이단이 나쁘다는 것도 알고 있습니다. 그러나, 사람들은 이단에 빠집니다. 왜 빠질까요? 이단이 나쁘다고 말로만 경고하지 이단에 대해서 알려주는 이가 없기 때문입니다. 어떤 이단들이 있는지? 그들이 왜 이단인지? 무엇을 가르치는지? 어떻게 활동하는지? 세미나를 통해 함께 알아봅시다. 이단의 속임수를 대적할 수 있는 건 변하지 않은 진리이신 ‘하나님의 말씀’입니다. 이단에 대해서 바로 알고 하나님의 말씀으로 무장한다면 우리는 이단 감별사가 될 수 있습니다. 이단 감별사 가 되기 위한 첫 걸음 이단 세미나에 여러분을 초대합니다.
We often hear, “Be ware of heresies! Don’t you fall for them!” We know that heresy is false and untruthful, but people often fall for it nevertheless; WHY? It’s because we do not learn about heresies as much as we are told to stay away from them. What kinds of heresies are there? Why are some preachers considered heretics? What do they teach? How do they operate? Let’s learn about heresies and heretics together. The only way we can fight them off is through the unchanging truth of “God’s words.” Once we properly learn about heresies and arm ourselves with God’s words, we will be able to correctly distinguish them. I invite you to the bootcamp against heresies.

공동체란 무엇인가? 하나님은 왜 공동체를 만드셨을까? 왜 관계의 불편함을 감수하면서 공동체여야 하는가? 예수님의 사랑을 경험하는 공동체는 어떻게 경험할 수 있을까? 공동체와 함께 하나님 영광을 보기 위해 어떻게 해야 할까? 나와 하나님과의 관계, 나와 다른 사람과의 관계를 이해하여 공동체를 향한 하나님의 계획을 경험하고 하나님의 사랑이 공동체를 통해 나타나길 소망하자.
What is a community and why did God bring us together as one? Have you ever wondered why we must come together despite the inconvenience? How can we experience a community in Christ and His love through it? What can we do as a community to see God’s glory? Let’s try to understand the connection between my relationship with God as well as relationship with others. By understanding the meaning and the purpose of the community, we will be able to experience God’s plan, and see God’s love working through our church.

전도는 내 삶에 ‘STOP’ 이다. 내 중심적인 가치관으로 달려가던 길에서 나를 잠시 멈춰야 한다. 그래야 주님이 바라보시는 사람들을 긍휼히 바라볼 수 있기 때문이다. 친구, 이웃, 가족,,,,,,,,그런데 어떻게 예수님 이야기를 꺼낼까? 전도? 부담스러운 주제인가? 아니면 기쁘게 누리는 하나님의 축복인가? 쉽고 감사하며 시작해 볼 수 있는 방법은 무엇일까? 명료하고 간단한 복음전도의 삶으로 여러분을 초대한다. 전도는 우리를 향한 하나님의 숨겨진 보화를 누리는 것이며 하나님을 미소 짓게 하는 일이다. 복음 전도의 기쁨과 열매를 기대하면서 여러분의 눈이 활짝 열리게 될 것이다.
Evangelism is my life’s “STOP.” It can be done when we put a STOP on our self-centered race in my life. This will allow us to look at our friends, family, and neighbors through God’s compassionate looking glass. BUT how can we actually do that? Evangelism can feel like a burden at times, but it is a JOYFUL blessing from God. Let’s learn together how to STOP and START with grateful hearts. I invite you to a clear and simple way to evangelism. Evangelism is a way to enjoy God’s hidden treasure and bring joy to Him. Our eyes will be fully open to the joys and fruits that God has prepared for us by learning about evangelism.

What defines your identity? Physical appearance? Culture? Accomplishments? And who defines your identity? You? Your friends? Your social media followers? Your parents? Only our Creator can define our identity, and this seminar will help us understand who God says we are. Bring your Bible as we dig deeper into His Word and learn how God defines us!

Knowing ChristianLY: Seeing Reality Through the Christian Worldview

모든 사람은 세상을 바라보는 “세계관”을 가지고 있습니다. 세계관을 통해 사람들과 관계를 형성하고 교제하죠. 그 세계관은 우리가 가지고 있는 질문들에 대한 답을 주곤 합니다: 우리는 누구인가? 세상에는 왜 아픔과 고통이 있지? 해결 방법은 있을까? 우리 삶의 목적이 무엇일까? 이러한 질문들은 정말 중요한 질문들이고, 어떤 답을 하느냐에 따라 우리 삶의 방향과 관점이 바뀌게 된다.
우리의 믿음과 세계관에 대해 한번 생각해 보자. 세미나를 통해 우리가 지금 가지고 있는 세계관을 알아보고, 그 세계관의 중요성과 영향력을 한번 알아보자. 그리고 우리가 하나님의 자녀로서 가지는 기독교적인 세계관과 그 외의 세계관을 알아보고 기독교적인 세계관을 가지고 이 세상을 어떻게 살아갈 수 있을지 배워보자.
Everyone has a worldview—the lens through which we view the world and interact with those around us. Our worldview answers the big questions of life: Who are we? Why is there pain and evil in the world, and is there a solution? What is our ultimate purpose? These are some of the most important questions anyone can ask, and how you answer these questions will determine everything you do and what you live for.
In this seminar, students will be challenged to think both critically and Christianly about their faith and their worldview. By the end of the seminar, students will be able to answer: (1) What is worldview and how can we test them?, (2) What is the importance and impact of our worldviews?, (3) What is the Christian worldview and what are the alternatives?, And (4) How can we live with a Christian worldview in a pluralistic, secular world? The seminar will close with a Q&A session where students will be able to ask any question they have about the Christian faith.
